Keep us, oh God, from pettiness; let us be large in thought, in word, in deed.
Let us be done with fault finding and leave off self seeking.
May we put away all pretense and meet each other face to face, without self-pity, and without prejudice.
May we never be hasty in judgment and always generous.
Let us take time for all things; make us grow calm,
serene, gentle.
Teach us to put into action our better impulses, straightforward and unafraid.
Grant that we may realize it is the little things that create differences, that in the big things of life, we are at one.
And may we strive to touch and to know the great, common human heart of us all. And, oh Lord God, let us
forget not to be kind!

The next General Meeting April 9th, 10:30 a.m. sharp at the Charles Smith Community Center.
In order to keep our meetings from running too long, refreshments will be available at 10 a.m..
Please arrive early to take care of any business so we can start the meeting on time. Thank you
Today we will experience Chair Yoga with
Adrienne Costa-DePaola. Wear comfortable clothing if you plan to participate.
Please wear "BLUE" for Child Abuse Awareness" month.
- The April Newsletter is attached. Please GO GREEN and read it online. Copies will also be available at the meeting. *Note: Newsletters are typically attached the weekend before the general meeting.
- $2.00 at the door.
- CIP will be hosting a 50/50
- Monthly gift basket will be donated by members of the Civic Engagement Department
- The Food Bank does not want anymore tuna at this time. Instead please donate condiments for everyday use.
- Please remember to bring your 3 cans of tuna, nursing home items, cell phones, eyeglasses and items for our 4-legged friends.
- Operation Smile items being collected. Please see list of items needed. This is the last month for donations.
Here is the list of personal items needed:
Small, hotel size shampoo
Wide tooth comb
Wash cloths
Travel size toothpaste
Child size toothbrush
These are in addition to the toys, games etc.
- Providence House is collecting paper towels, individual snacks, granola bars and juice boxes.
- If you are interested in going to the Holland Ridge Farms on April 30th please give your payment of $15.00 to Linda Hruska today.
