A Collect of Club Women

Keep us, oh God, from pettiness; let us be large in thought, in word, in deed.
Let us be done with fault finding and leave off self seeking.
May we put away all pretense and meet each other face to face, without self-pity, and without prejudice.
May we never be hasty in judgment and always generous.
Let us take time for all things; make us grow calm,
serene, gentle.
Teach us to put into action our better impulses, straightforward and unafraid.
Grant that we may realize it is the little things that create differences, that in the big things of life, we are at one.
And may we strive to touch and to know the great, common human heart of us all. And, oh Lord God, let us
forget not to be kind!

Our June luncheon will be at Kristy's in Waretown. The cost is $44.50 per person. If you are planning on attending please bring your check to the May meeting payable to the Woman's Club of Lacey, Inc.
The May Newsletter will be is attached. Please GO GREEN and read it online. Copies will also be available at the meeting.
- Our May raffle will be a $50.00 gift card.
- CIP will be hosting a 50/50
- The Food Bank is requesting boxed Mac & Cheese . An healthier alternative would be a jar of sauce and a box of pasta
- Please remember to bring items for the nursing home, cell phones, eyeglasses
- Laura McDonald is NO LONGER collecting plastics.
- We will begin collecting small items for Operation Smile.
