50/50 raffles are held each month and donations are presented to the
Multiple Handicap Program in Lacey.
At Woman's Club of Lacey, we offer a range of programs to support our community, including food assistance to the Lacey Food Bank. We collect 3 cans of tuna fish from each member, each month as well as other
non-perishable items.
Our programs are designed to meet the needs of each individual or family we serve.
We make regular visits to the local nursing home, celebrating birthdays, serving cake, participating in sing-a-longs and bringing smiles to all residents.
Toiletry items, stuffed animals, baby dolls and gently used clothing are donated.
We collect used cell phones, eyeglasses and eyeglass cases.
Each month a basket is donated by an individual department to be raffled at the
General Meeting.
All monies raised go towards our
scholarship fund.
Treats, used lines, throw rugs, towels and pet food are all welcome. Items are taken to the Popcorn Park Zoo items needed
Donations of hand-made lap blankets are sent to the N.J. Sharing Network and donated to the families whose loved one has given the
"gift of life".
We are always looking for more knitters and those that crochet to make items for donation..
Donations of yarn are also welcome
